　イタリアの国歌（Inno di Mameli）と六甲おろし、なんだかすごく似ています。大きく共通しているのは、明るい演奏で、歌っている人が楽しそうという雰囲気です。その点、日本の国歌である「君が代」はなんだか天皇陛下に敬意を抱いて歌わなければならないような雰囲気・・・今の時代、「陛下様」と言っている人はどれぐらいいるのかな？・・・

　隣の韓国ですら私の目からは愛国心があるような印象があり、２００２年のサッカーワールドカップでは、韓国の国民は一丸となって応援していたようなイメージがあったのですが、日本は愛国心がないのか悪ふざけをして盛り上がっていたような印象があります。まるで「君が代」を歌っても盛り上がらないから他でストレス発散・・って感じなんでしょうか？

　友達が冗談で言っていたことなのですが、俺たちの国歌は「六甲おろしだ！」と言っていた人がいたのですが、日本の国歌として六甲おろしの方がまだ格好いいと私は思っています。ちなみに君が代をWikipediaで調べてみてもなんのことだかさっぱり・・・

　以前、オーストラリアのメルボルンでニューイヤーデー（１月２６日）を迎えたことがあります。スタジアムでイベントが行われていて、首相のJohn howardやTelstraの社長、オーストラリアのテニスプレーヤーなどが演説をしていました。 　その前にコンサートがあって、いろんな人が歌った中で圧倒的にYothu Yindiというアボリジニのミュージシャンが人気を集めていました。ちょっと気になって探してみるとありました。

　今も楽しいのですが、あの時はまた違う楽しさがあったような気がします。特に女友達の方が多かったことがなによりすばらしい！！この映像を見ると個人的にはいろんな思い出がよみがえってきます。といいますかオーストラリアのいいところを総なめしたようなPVですね？

　メルボルンに長期滞在していた時のルームメイトがAustralia U2 ShowというU2のカバーバンドやっていたのですけど、今も立派なホームページは健在しているので、きっと元気にやっているのだと安心します。今度オーストラリアに長期滞在したらどうなるかな？タバコやめないと借金地獄に陥りそう・・・・なんせ１箱１０００円近いからね？でもLa Porchettaのピザは安くておいしかった。

　はじめは全く英語が話せなかったにもかかわらず一人でオーストラリアに行ったのですけど、「頼りない自分」を助けてくれたたくさんのいい人のお陰で楽しく過ごせたのかもしれません。それからは、自分で何でもできるようになり、人との会話も減っていった気がします。最初は一日３人ペースぐらいで短かったけど新しい友達できてました。「成長することはいいことばかりではない」のかもしれませんね？特に３０代以降の女性は・・・＾＾
